About Us
Salsa United was established by Principal Dancer & Choreographer Angus Prince in September 2004 with the vision of making Salsa accessible to all the people of Cape Town.
Since then we have established ourselves as the fore-runner in Salsa performances with our biggest show being the Cape Talk Moonstruck Event in February 2006 where we performed for 7000 people. This was the biggest Salsa event that Africa has ever seen.
In addition to this, we have performed for a number of major corporate and private events as well as performing with South Africa's number 1 Latin Band, Maquina Loca.
Our Mission
We strive to unite and empower the diverse people of the South Africa through the medium of dance by taking the dance to the people. We will teach anyone who is willing to learn and go wherever is required to share the passion and fire that is dancing.

The Group
The performance group currently consists of 12 Senior dancers and they are put through their paces by our choreographers in regular rehearsals. We are also actively looking for fresh & energetic dancers from all genres to compliment the group and add some new flavour to various shows that we put on.
